Bienvenue à la page française!
I honestly have not written as much as I thought I would about studying and speaking French, but I hope to rectify that soon! If you have any ideas for me, or if you are also learning French, please let me know.
I took French in high school after two years of learning Latin in middle school. The reason I chose it was because it sounded pretty and because all of the books I read as a child such as Jane Eyre, The Secret Garden, Rebecca, and the likes included a boss lady who spoke French, and I knew I did not want to miss out! I continued my studies in college, and I studied in Paris for a semester my sophomore year. That was when I really learned it. And I recently returned to France for a short service trip of ten days, so I will definitely have to write about that wonderful experience from a linguistic point of view!
